Your report says what the condition is. It does not say what to do about it.
That second question is the one your client asks you in the driveway, and the one you cannot answer for them. SuveHome answers it: we read your report alongside the seller’s disclosure and everything else in the package, and give the buyer a position on the offer.
Talk to us about offering this. A conversation, not a signup. We are looking for a small number of inspectors to work this out with.
Does this put your name on a recommendation?
No, and we have built it so that it cannot.
The recommendation is ours. It is addressed to the buyer, it is signed by us, and the report says in plain words that it was produced automatically and that no person reviewed it. You are not the author, and nothing in the report suggests you are.
What you are handing over is a second read of your own findings by somebody else, with its limits stated on the front of it. You are not vouching for it. You are telling a client it exists.
And the honest part: other services in this space offer you a repair estimate and no opinion, and they will tell you that reduces your exposure. That is a fair argument and it is true of theirs. Ours takes a position, which is the whole reason a buyer values it. If you would rather hand over numbers without a view, they are the better fit, and we would rather say so now than discover it later.
What it does for you
Your client gets an answer you are not able to give. You report condition. You do not price the negotiation, and you should not. This does, and it came from your report.
The agent notices. The buyer goes back to their agent holding a position on the offer that started with your inspection. That is a memorable inspection.
No new step in your day. We read the report you already wrote, in the format you already write it.
What we are proposing
There is no monthly fee and there never will be, and we are not asking you to buy anything up front. What we want from the first few partners is the conversation, and we expect to pay for the value you bring rather than charge you for access. The commercial terms are ours to set and are not settled, which is precisely why we would rather talk than send you a contract.
We are looking for ten inspectors to start with
Not a pilot programme with a form to fill in. A call, a look at a real report, and an honest answer about whether you would hand this to a client.
